Short public lectures on science, art and history of Manhattan will be presented to the audience by the author and the guest speakers of the event, while family activities for young visitors will be offered at the gallery.

This richly illustrated book is addressed to the general public investigates application of mathematical thinking in observing of fine arts. The artworks from the collection of the Marianna Kistler Beach Museum of Art illustrate that mathematical insight may lead to a better understanding of the artwork and the artist's methods and intentions.
